About James Clarke
James Clarke has worked with land and real estate for over twenty years. In 1994, he started Florida Land Services, Inc., which has managed over 20,000 acres of land and been involved in the sale of over a hundred million dollars worth of property. James’ real estate experience includes management of agricultural property and operations, development of master land use plans, planning and construction of residential developments, and residential construction.
James was born in Kenya and raised in Zimbabwe. He has traveled extensively throughout southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the Americas. Prior to starting his own company, he worked for Dole Citrus and managed many different citrus operations across south Florida. He moved to Lakewood Ranch in 1993 and is an active member of the Sarasota Polo Club.
